By air, Galdessa is close to both the Malindi/Mombasa
coast and the Chyulu Hills, which by private charter are
approximately 35 minutes away. The camp is 1 hour’s flight
from Nairobi. Galdessa has an all weather strip (Luggard’s)
15 minutes drive from the camp but park entry must be first
made at Manyani Airstrip from where clients are either

Galdessa Main Camp is located on the southern

leave camp, as the game seeks relief from the heat of the
day in the waters of the river.
Accommodation consists of 12 comfortable, spacious
thatched and semi-tented bungalows on wooden platforms, each

conceal neighboring bandas. The bathrooms are large and
have traditional bucket showers, flush toilets and basins
with running water.
Galdessa Private Camp can be booked exclusively and is

thatched bungalows, exclusive booking allows guests absolute
privacy, your own dining room and lounge, as well as the

the majority of the game aggregate during the dry season.
The thatch roof, Galana stone floors, and deep, bed-size
sofas give it a charming coastal atmosphere.
