Livingstone is renowned as the Adventure Capital of Africa and the choice of activities is immense. Some of the options include bungi jumping, white-water rafting, elephant rides, helicopter and micro-light flights, all of which can be enjoyed during your stay at your own cost. A morning or early evening visit to Victoria Falls is an absolute must.

Discovered by David Livingstone and named for his Queen, the Falls are magnificent year round. High water (Jan-May) sees high spray Low water (Jun- Dec) allows great views of the rock formations and the opportunity to book a very special experience to visit Livingstone Island in the center of the Falls. Expert guides will take you to explore the mighty Victoria Falls, a World Heritage Site and one of the magnificent Seven Wonders of the Natural World. This truly is one of the most spectacular images that one has the opportunity to experience.

Following this morning tour of the Falls, embark on a unique opportunity to experience life in a local African village. During your stay at Sussi & Chuma, one of the included activities guests experience, is a tour of the local Simonga Village. This Village lies to the West of the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park on the outskirts of Livingstone and close to the famed Victoria Falls in Zambia.

This simple fishing village is comprised of roughly 3000 people who live in simple but comfortable mud and brick houses. Village scouts and guides show guests around the village which generally includes a courtesy visit to Elizabeth Inongo's House. Elizabeth is one of the few head ladies in Zambia and is responsible for the well-being of her ward and of the village in general, and is one of the area Chief's (Chief Sekute's) primary advisors. The gentleness and care of this charming and wise elderly woman is immediately apparent upon meeting her. She has dedicated her life to ensuring that all in her community are well taken care of, and that each family is allocated sufficient land in order to sustain their families.
