Tongabezi Lodge (Vic Falls)
Arrive Livingstone International Airport where you are
met by your driver for the transfer to Tongabezi.
Depending on the time of your arrival you will be given
lunch or afternoon tea and then you may have a chance to
head out on an afternoon activity before returning for
Sindabezi Island (Vic Falls)
You will be transferred to nearby Sindabezi Island today.
Depending on your mood, you can head to the Victoria
Falls, go for a morning boat cruise on the Zambezi or ask
the team to organize white water rafting, a swim in the
Devil’s Pools (both seasonal activities), canoeing, a visit
to the nearby local village, fishing, lunch on a private
island or a game drive in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park.
Chongwe River Camp (Lower Zambezi National
Your flight from Livingstone is via Lusaka and will drop
you at Royal Airstrip and onto Chongwe River Camp,
idyllically set on the confluence of the Chongwe and Zambezi
The spacious, open-fronted suites offer private views
across the Zambezi and the steep escarpment behind you.
Activities are varied with the choice between fishing,
walking, day and night drives or for the more adventurous a
canoe trip along one of the many channels off the Zambezi
frequented by hippo and elephant.
Norman Carr Safaris Camps
You will catch a flight from Royal Airstrip to Mfuwe for
the South Luangwa NP, the premier wildlife area of Zambia.
Our camps are situated in the heart of the National Park and
you will be able to participate in walking and driving
safaris as well as spectacular night drives where the
possibility of seeing leopard and lion are high.
All the bush camps have gorgeous settings, overlooking
the Luangwa or Luwi Rivers; chalets are nestled under huge
old trees and have ensuite bathrooms open to the sky.
Our guides are some of the most knowledgeable in Africa,
ensuring you will have a memorable safari experience.
Kaya Mawa Lodge (Likoma Island) Lake
Today you will fly via Lilongwe and onto Likoma Island in
the midst of the crystal clear waters of Lake Malawi. Kaya
Mawa (meaning “maybe tomorrow”) is surrounded by mango
trees, bougainvillea and ancient baobabs.
Each room has its own deck, views to die for and direct
access to the lake. Lake Malawi is home to a wide variety of
aquatic life - the clear waters around Likoma Island are
excellent for diving and snorkeling.
The Island itself has plenty of treats in store and you
are free to explore on foot, by bicycle or on quad bikes. A
visit to St Peter’s Cathedral is highly recommended. This
remarkable building, built by missionaries at the turn of
the 20th century measures over 100 meters in length.
The flight from Likoma Island will take you to Lilongwe
from where you will connect to your onward flight
